Educational and SO MUCH FUN!

We are a family of 7 with 5 kids ranging 13-26. This excursion will be laughed about for the rest of our lives. It was fun for every age! Our tour guides, Gabriel and Miguel are so smart and were so helpful. We loved the Mayan dancers. One daughter bought a bracelet and had it blessed by a shaman at the market where we had lunch and were pushed to buy things. The rest of the kids bought stuff at Chichen Itza and it was fine. Be prepared to haggle prices with the vendors. Chichen Itza offers zero shade during the tour, so wear a hat or bring an umbrella for sure! The Cenote was absolutely magnificent! It would have been nice to stay a little bit longer, but all of us were able to jump off the rope swing or platform as much as we wanted. The experiences for the money cannot be beat! This was one of the best family days we have EVER had! Oh, don't miss out on the churros at the last stop, too. Mucho Gusto!

This tour was amazing! My boyfriend and I had the best time and the best tour guides. Alejandro and Tomas were great. They’re gave us so much information about Chicken Itza, gave us free time to explore around the areas visited on our own, and the Cenote Saamal visit was the best! The only thing I wish we got was more time at Cenote Saamal. With 1 hour to swim, change, shower, and get back to the bus, we felt a little rushed but other than that it was an amazing tour. 10/10 would recommend booking with them. :)
Very well organized, but wished our guide allowed more time to enjoy the view in our 3 hour ride to our destination.

The tourists guide was great, but talked too much, it made us not enjoy the silence in the bus. Very knowledgeable, but too much talking.

Marketing pushed too much

I booked this trip through Cancun bay. I was not happy with this tour. The bus had not fully functional bathrooms. They can only be used to urinate only. Once we started going we stopped at a market first to be pushed to buy from locals. Next, was chichen itza and the guide recommended to not buy from any of the vendors there due to corruption . Also, prices were way lower at chichen itza then at the market we stopped by first. Next we made a half an hour stop at the cenote in playa del
Carmen called selva Maya. The tour only gave us half an hour to go into the cenote. Extremely disappointed about it. Lastly we did a quick stop at Valladolid to pick up food and use restrooms. Overall cancun bay does try to support locals, but failed to make us aware of the massive marketing push which left me very disappointed about this trip.
