Overview

The ancient Maya city of Chichen Itza, Mexico was one of the most prominent governmental centers in the Maya world. Constructed around 525 AD, Chichen Itza was also the most important religious site in the Yucatan Peninsula.
We are among the first to arrive at the ruins of Chichen-Itza. Ancient history, archaeology, culture, and magic await you on our Chichen Itza tours. We provide you with umbrellas so that your excursion within the area is pleasant.

In addition to a visit to the Maya ruins, our adventure from Cancun to Chichen Itza includes a stop in the colonial city of Valladolid, a visit to a handicrafts store, a delicious buffet lunch featuring regional specialties, and a visit to a 2 beautiful open-air cenote (a natural fresh-water sinkhole). The Maya considered cenotes to be sacred portals to the underworld. They were also their only source of freshwater. You can go for a swim in the cenote to cool off!

I loved the itinerary and our tour guide was excellent Caesar very informative. The restaurant was very traditional and the food was very good and delivered quickly. I had one small issue and they reached out to me to correct it after and acted very professionally after. My favorite part was the ruins and cenote! I would recommend the tour.

My friends and I had such a great time! It’s an all day activity, be sure not to plan anything else if you go on this trip! We love how we went to two different cenotes & got to know more of the culture. We loved it!

A very organized tour and packed with activities. Although we went to visit Chichen Itza after lunch right in the hottest time of the day! I wonder if the visit couldn't be the first thing of the day instead?
Wrong order of activities geared to Spanish

We appreciate the length of the excursion but waiting in a coffee shop for 45 mins after the 1st leg of the journey was poor. Once invited on the bus it looked like there were no seats for us. After a long discussion in Spanish with others it was sorted but no explanation was given to us. Everyone was looking at us like we shouldn't be on the bus.

We were then on the move. I feel there was about 20% English speaking vs Spanish and this reflected in the amount spoken in English. Very little and we didn't get all the information needed. For example they didn't tell us it was MANDATORY to wear life jackets at the cenote. We walked down to the cenote I jumped in and the lifeguards started whistling asking me to get out. Everyone looking at me. This should have been made clear.

Going to chichen itza last we felt was poor. This stop should be first.

At the end the most English translation we got was about tipping. Very poor to pushing in my personal opinion when the tour guides spoke more in Spanish. I felt obliged to give a tip but wish this could have been given directly to the driver only.
