Overview

Live unique experiences at your time with no pressure exploring this amazing Valladolid city

Near to Chichen-Itza is located Valladolid, the first city built by Spain after the conquist of the Mayan civiliciting.
we will start in the central park where we will be dazzled by its colonial architecture and the main church with more than 500 years of history.

We will walk through the town hall to appreciate the art in the colonial murals in the building, as well as the museum, we will inquire into the famous Church of San Servicio and its catacombs in the Calzada de los Frailes that adorn this community with its vivid colors and beauty in architecture.

We will visit the Ix Cat Ik restaurant, which is a special recommendation from our team, as they offer gourmet regional food for all tastes and diets.

What To Expect

Valladolid is a hospitable city full of history that makes Yucatan proud. For centuries it has been identified by the richness of the Spanish legacy embodied in its temples and the ancestry of its old neighborhoods. It has an exceptional colonial flavor. Walking through its streets, with its brightly painted cases, the neighborhoods with their churches and of course the imposing convent of San Bernardino de Siena, a palpable trace of the Franciscan presence throughout the peninsula, is to return to the past. Its cozy Main Park offers the shade of its laurels to locals and strangers, and in the afternoon the birds fill the environment with their trills, announcing the end of the day.
