Brilliant day at the Chichen Itza!!!

This tour was brilliant! The transfer was efficient, the buffet lunch was nice (although drinks not included) and we were given sufficient time at each location to sightsee/browse souvenirs. The Chichen Itza site is fascinating and quite large so ensure you wear comfortable shoes (it’s also very dusty and some of the ground is uneven). The city of Valladolid is very pretty and had a little market where you could buy souvenirs and snacks. You don’t get long here but it’s plenty of time to explore the square and take pictures. My favourite part of the tour was the cenote. We decided to visit the Cenote Selva Maya and it was stunning! The Hacienda it’s situated in is very picturesque and the facilities are good. Staff are very friendly and it’s very clean. The cenote itself was amazing and so much fun to swim in (they also had a platform to jump in which is a must do!). Our guides Orlando and Tony were so friendly and knowledgable. It was inspiring to hear them speak of their Mayan background and they were both really engaging. The Chichen Itza is a must-see and swimming in the cenote was a tick off of the bucket list. All in all, we had the best day and I would 100% recommend this tour!!!
Thank you Carlos and his team for an amazing experience!

Booked though TripAdvisor, but actually operated by 8th Wonder Tour.

Carlos, our main tour guide was awesome. Really funny and entertaining, and also gave very important information very clearly. I recommended paying attention to everything he says!

The walking tour around Chichen Itza with "The Professor" was also awesome and he told us a lot of great stories about the Mayan history. We only had two hours to explore the site, and we felt it was barely enough time to see everything, and I wish we had maybe another 30 minutes to just absorb in all the sights.

This has nothing to do with the tour, but main con is there are many loud and aggressive vendors at the site. Carlos again did a good job educating us about this.

The Cenote was also really really great and fun follow up to Chichen Itza, especially on a really hot sunny day. The was so clean and drinkable!

Closed off the tour in Valladolid in the main square/plaza which was also fun. Very pretty area.

It was a 12 hour long tour, but it was well worth the time and I highly recommend it!

The whole team was super organized and kept us on time and efficient, and its clear they put a lot of thought and effort into this and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you!
Tino was a great tour guide

We were given just the right amount of time to explore the Chichen-Itza. I could have hung out at the cenote all day! It was perfect. The lunch was great too.
Exelent guides!

Ruben, our guide, and Victor, the driver, were both terrific. It was a long tour, starting shortly after sunup and ending after dark, but these two made the time pass nicely between the different destinations. A little more free time at Chitzen Itza would have been preferred, but it's not easy to keep a schedule when there's always one or two others late to the bus... Still, a really terrific tour!
Great Day

This was a great excursion dispite the temperature of 99°. There could have been a little bit more time at the cenote, we were kind of rushed. But overall, very informative and an awesome piece of history.
