Overview

This magic town Located between Mérida and Cancun, near Chichén Itzá. At first glance, Valladolid is not much different from any other Spanish colonial city in Latin America. There is the main square, the cathedral, cobbled streets, colorful buildings .But Valladolid has one thing that makes it unique from the rest: A cenote a few blocks from its center.

Also you can visit cenotes. a natural pools formed by time and there are many of them located in this part of Mexico. Today they are used for swimming, but historically they were used for Mayan sacrificial purposes. There are a few other things to see during 12 hours in Valladolid. The center of activity is el Parque Francisco Canton Rosado, located right in front of the cathedral.

La calzada de los Frailes the most colorful and cheerful place in all of Valladolid. Here you will find shops, restaurants, bars and many spots worthy of a good Instagram selfie.
