A wonderful day out. The pick up was on time with Alex welcoming us onto the bus. He gave a clear explanation of how the day was to go.
He was very entertaining and amusing as well as informative.
He has a great knowledge of the Mayan civilisation but was also honest about what we don't know but that other tour guides might make up ( hand clapping at Chichen Izka).
The trip to the cenote was fun but beware you need to abseil / rapel into the cenote. It's a big drop and not to everyone's taste. Alternatively you can walk down a steep and slippery slope which can be quite treacherous.
You need good mobility to enjoy this part of the trip.
The lunch was delicious and we enjoyed the Mayan ceremony
All in all a thoroughly great day out.. Special thanks to Alex for making it so.
A must see!!

What a wonderful day we spent! We visited the breathtaking ruins of Chichen Itza and couldn’t have had a better tour guide! Alejandro Martinez, our guide, is so knowledgeable of the history of the Maya and will really teach you about it. He was also very funny, cracking jokes to keep the group entertained. We then went to the Cenote where we got to rappel down 25m into clear blue, fresh water and swim there for a while.
This is a MUST if you come to Mexico!
Great day!

We had a great day! The guide Hugo en driver Sammy took excellent care of us. The day begun at chichen itza, first the guide explained a lot and after that we could explore ourselves. After that we went to the maya cenote, it was beautiful! In the cenote there was a lot to do. There were photographers and afterwards you van buy the pictures, which we did. The ceremony was fun and the food was great. Everything about the day was great.
Long day with surprises

What a day! Transportation was scheduled well in advance. We were ready to go, and they came inside the hotel to alert us they were there to pick us up.

Nice drive to Chichen Itza (about 2 hours.) We arrived before the influx of tourists and before the heat was almost unbearable. Gabbo was a fantastic tour guide. This was my second time going to this wonder of the world and I learned so much history on this trip that I was not aware.

Upon leaving the pyramid, we ventured to Cenote Maya. I knew were were going to the cenote but I was unaware of it being necessary to rappel down in a harness. Wow! No where in the info was this specified. My husband and I did it but…wish I would have had some indication before.

Accommodations at the cenote were bare minimum. Toilets, sink and lockers are pretty much all you get.

Lunch was ok. Chicken, rice, tortas and salad.
