Rio Lagartos
In the past, many articles were left through this port to supply the Peninsula. San Felipe and Río Lagartos have been the exit doors for all the wealth that the prodigal land of Tizimín treasures.

In recent years it has been given a great tourist boost for its beautiful beaches and the spring, known by the residents as Chiquilá, where the freshwater from the rains meets the saline water from the sea, in addition to being declared a Wildlife Refuge by the Mexican Government, for being the habitat of a large number of plants and animals such as the white-tailed deer, the lizard, the pheasant, the pink flamingo, the jaguar and hundreds of species of birds.
